Her Telangana accent in the film was perfect that makes you split in laughs. Aksha’s performance in Kandireega might grab her few more roles.</div><div style="color: black; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; list-style-type: none; margin-bottom: 11px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 5px; padding-top: 0px; text-align: justify;">Sonu Sood is the highlight of the film. Cinematography is first-class and Champakamala song stands out for its exotic locales. Dialogues are enjoyable. Editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is okay but could have trimmed down as the run time length is more. Production values are standard. Debutant director Santhosh Srinivas has come up with a taut screenplay and narration. <b>Starring :</b> Naga Chaitanya, Kajal, Srikanth, Samiksha, Brahmanandam, Ali, Rahul Dev, Aruna Shields others .<br />
<br />
Naga Chaintanya hit the screens today with “Dhada”. The movie was directed by debutante Ajay Bhuyan and has been produced by Shiva Prasad Reddy. The movie has generated a good pre-release buzz for its stills as well as for the reported ‘trouble’ between Kajal and Chaitanya and this has led to good openings . Let us see how Dhada fares.<br />
<br />
<b>What’s it about:</b><br />
Vishwa (Naga Chaitanya) is a Telugu youth living in New York. He lives along with his brother(Sriram) and sister in law. Vishwa is a street smart guy and has the habit of getting into trouble to save people in trouble. Rhea(Kajal Aggarwal) is the unhappy daughter of a multimillionaire (Mukesh Rishi). She suffers from loneliness and depression. Her mother (Satya Krishna) reportedly commits suicide and Rhea spends most of her time watching old clippings of her mother in the basement.Vishwa watches Rhea at an ice skating rink owned by Chocolate Janakiram (Brahmanandam) and falls in love with her. Janakiram has a weakness for beautiful women and Vishwa turns that into his advantage.He blackmails Janakiram and uses him in his attempts to woo Rhea.Rahul Dev is a crime lord of New York city and he controls the prostitution and drug cartels there. He enters into a business deal with Kelly (Kelly Dorji), a Colombian drug lord, to supply women. Vishwa crosses the paths of these crime bosses accidentally while trying to save a woman and becomes their target.Rhea’s father fixes her marriage with another millionaire and when Kajal opposes this for Vishwa, Rahul Dev is approached to assassinate him. Into all this mess comes in Vishwa’s brother(Sriram), in a twist to the story.How Vishwa manages to solve all the problems and win Rhea forms the rest of the story.<br />
What is Good:<br />
he movie is very stylishly shot and there is richness in every frame. Care has been taken to treat every frame with sophistication. (But in this process, they missed out on something else-We will come to that later.).Chaitanya has improved tremendously in his dancing and fighting abilities and uses these to good effect in the movie. He looks good and his costumes are fantastic. Chaitanya has inherited his dad’s sense of style.Kajal looks drop dead gorgeous in songs. The glamour quotient is extremely high and there is quite a bit of skin show.Sriram looks good and he turned in a pretty good performance. Rahul Dev also turned in a decent performance even though his characterization was too similar to Raghuvaran’s in “Mass”.All the songs were pretty nicely choreographed and looked good on screen. The fights are realistic and stylish. The ‘brother sentiment’ between Sriram and Chaitanya worked well.Fights and a few action sequences were heavily borrowed from Hollywood. The prize fight in the ring is very similar to the sequence in Sherlock Holmes but it has come out well.<br />
<br />
<b>What is bad:</b><br />
Sadly, the care that was taken on style and presentation was not evident in the screenplay. The movie proceeds at a torturous pace in the second half and the patience of the audience is really tested. Songs keep butting in at irregular intervals and hinder the progress of the story. There are some illogical points as well.Kajal doesn’t look very good with this new hairstyle. She looked ravishing in songs but pretty ordinary in the movie. The person who dubbed for Samantha in “Ye Maya Chesave” has dubbed for Kajal in this movie and it just does not suit her. You literally wince every time you hear Kajal ‘speak’ on screen.Naga Chaitanya needs to really work on his dialogue delivery, especially in intense emotional scenes. There were a few laughs from the audience when Chaitanya was trying to utter some serious stuff.We do not know if the rumours of a tiff between Chaitanya and Kajal are true. But they definitely do not have a good onscreen chemistry.Comedy is the biggest let down. The movie has Brahmanandam, Dharmavarapu, Ali, M.S.Narayana, Venu Madhav and Uttej. Sadly, all of them are terribly wasted. They just come and go in a flash. Only Brahmanandam has some screen time but some of his scenes fail to evoke laughter. Especially the scene with Ali in the jungle was a bit ridiculous.<br />
<br />
<b>Technical Departments :</b><br />
Ajay Bhuyan is a disappointment. The director had absolutely no command over the story and his problem is his inability to use the talents of his actors. Kelly Dorji was absolutely wasted. So was Tanikella Bharani. With such an ensemble cast of comedy stars, the movie should have had much better comedy.Devi Sri comes up with a good background score and the songs look better on screen than they sound. Cinematography is of a very high quality and adds to the stylish feel of the movie.Editing is choppy. The flow is seriously hampered at times. Dialogues are pretty ok.<br />
<br />
<b>Analysis:</b><br />
Naga Chaitanya’s fans will be happy with the progress made by their hero in the areas of dancing and fighting. Apart from that, Dhada offers nothing for the regular movie goer. Sure, there’s tonnes of style and sophistication, but it doesn’t do much good when there is nothing else to back it up. The extremely slow pace of the movie in the second half is also a major let down. Apart from a few dances and fights, the B & C centres have nothing to look forward to either.<br />
<br />
<b>Final Word:</b> Dhada for audience and also the buyers!<br />

Apparently the new Xoom will only feature minor tweaks to its older version. However, it looks as if it will be slimmer and lighter.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Critics are weary of the Xoom 2. The original Xoom was incredibly expensive and didn’t offer the features its rival tablet-the iPad did.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The new Verizon commercial is indeed nonsense. It features a woman clutching the Verizon device that is only identifiable by the Verizon logo.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Critics are hoping that it is not another Xoom. The original product didn’t do too well in the first place. It claimed to be the ultimate Honeycomb tablet. The sales didn’t reflect this claim. It is considered to be overly priced, hard to hold and lacked a USB host port and microSD card clot. It would make more sense to stop Xoom’s production rather than release another version of it.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Does it really think it can stand in the way of Apple’s iPad? If anything, it will make the iPad that much more appealing.</div></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6258966459687295671.post-86108759099168695792011-06-18T04:45:00.000-07:002011-06-18T04:45:15.382-07:00Motorola XOOM in India<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"><div style="text-align: justify;"><a data-mce-href="http://onlinenewslatest.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/motorola-xoom.jpg" href="http://onlinenewslatest.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/motorola-xoom.jpg"><img alt="Motorola XOOM" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-833" data-mce-src="http://onlinenewslatest.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/motorola-xoom.jpg" height="250" src="http://onlinenewslatest.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/motorola-xoom.jpg" title="Motorola XOOM" width="370" /></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The much-hyped <em>Motorola XOOM</em> is now headed towards India. Reports suggest that the Motorola XOOM will make its way towards the country by the end of this month. The Motorola XOOM tablet was originally launched this past February in the United States as the first ever <em>Honeycomb</em> device. Honeycomb is a version of the <em>Android</em> operating system by Google, specially optimized for tablets. While some may feel that the XOOM is a bit late to enter the Indian Honeycomb tablet scene, with tablets like the <em>Acer Iconia Tab</em> already available in the market, the XOOM will still have the privilege of being the first ever Honeycomb tablet.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The Motorola XOOM features a 10.1" display with pixel dimensions of 800x1280 pixels, and it comes along with a 5 MP rear camera capable of recording 720p and a 2 MP front facing camera for video calling. It is powered by a 1GHz dual core <em>NVIDIA Tegra</em> 2 and there's 1GB of RAM on board to complement it to aptly take care of the tablet's performance aspect. There are quite a few connection options too with an HDMI port and a microSD card slot. The tablet will be available in 16 GB and 32 GB variants, though details about the prices are very scarce at the moment.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The Acer Iconia Tab <em>A500</em> already available in the market offers similar functionality with very few differences, but it has been criticized for having a poor build quality. Still, there's very little to differentiate between the Acer Iconia and the Motorola XOOM. Also, the <em>Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1</em> will soon be launched, making it even harder for you to choose. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 will come packed with Android 3.1, whereas XOOM comes with Android 3.0 though an update is promised by Motorola. The XOOM has a superior 5 MP camera, while the Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a 3.15 MP.</div></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6258966459687295671.post-37740460902708034252011-06-18T02:32:00.000-07:002011-06-18T02:32:02.153-07:00Jr NTR Nominated for Filmfare Awards 2010<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"><div style="text-align: justify;"><img alt="brindavanam2" data-mce-src="http://www.jrntr.com/images/stories/brindavanam2.jpg" height="318" src="http://www.jrntr.com/images/stories/brindavanam2.jpg" width="320" /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The Nominations for the 58th Idea Filmfare Awards 2010 (South) were announced in Chennai on May 31, 2011.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">In the best film category in Telugu, the nominees are `AVM vari Leader', `Adurs', `Brindavanam', `Simha', `Vedam' and `Ye Maya Chesave'.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Actors Allu Arjun, Balakrishna, Jr NTR, Naga Chaitanya and Rana Daggubati are vying for the best actor (male) award.</div></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6258966459687295671.post-58420858967024215842011-06-18T02:15:00.000-07:002011-06-18T02:15:20.118-07:00K.V. However, this smartphone has been touted to be Sony Ericsson’s entry in the dual-core smartphone segment and will be called the Xperia Duo.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">In all possibilities, the smartphone shown in this picture can be a clear fake, a Photoshop-ped image or something, but we cannot rule out the fact that the company has to make further endeavours in the smartphone segment if they want to keep up with the times. LG has a dual-core smartphone and so do Samsung and HTC, so maybe it’s high time that we saw a handset from SE’s stable boasting of some ground-breaking specifications.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">From what we can make of this picture, the handset looks more like a stretched out version of the Xperia Arc and if it has a large display (maybe a 4.3 or 4.5-incher) with BRAVIA engine, then this will be a device to look out for. Stay tuned for now as we try and debunk the whole fake/real image story. The phone, which sports a 4.3-inch qHD (960 x 540) screen, runs on a 1.2 Ghz dual-core processor. It's the third dual-core smartphone to be launched in India after Samsung Galaxy S II and LG Optimus 2X.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">HTC Sensation has been priced at Rs 32700, which makes it cheaper by Rs 190 when compared to Galaxy S II. However, this is the MRP and in the market both phones can be purchased for around Rs 30,000.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">HTC says Sensation has an 8 mega pixel rear camera with dual-LED flash. The phone can play as well as record 1080P videos. It has 1 GB internal storage and 768 MB RAM. The phone runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) that has been customized by HTC with its proprietary interface called Sense 3.0.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">At the launch event in New Delhi, HTC claimed Sensation has been designed to provide "superior multimedia" experience to users. The phone's screen has an aspect ratio of 16:9 which means that most of widescreen films will fill the entire screen and will not have black bars under and above the video. The phone also comes with "instant camera capture". This enables faster shutter speed, allowing users to click photographs "faster".</div></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6258966459687295671.post-45722707221493532912011-06-17T03:22:00.000-07:002011-06-17T03:25:00.157-07:00HTC Sensation launched in India at Rs 32,700<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"><div data-mce-style="text-align: justify;" style="text-align: justify;"><a data-mce-href="http://onlinenewslatest.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/htc-sensation.jpg" href="http://onlinenewslatest.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/htc-sensation.jpg"><img alt="HTC" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-764" data-mce-src="http://onlinenewslatest.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/htc-sensation.jpg" height="261" src="http://onlinenewslatest.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/htc-sensation.jpg" title="HTC" width="450" /></a></div><div data-mce-style="text-align: justify;" style="text-align: justify;">Taiwanese handset maker HTC launched its Android-based smartphone, Sensation, in the Indian market, priced at Rs 32,700 to take on the likes of Apple's iPhone 4 and Samsung's Galaxy S II.</div><div data-mce-style="text-align: justify;" style="text-align: justify;">The smartphone features Qualcomm's 1.2 Ghz Snapdragon processor, which will enhance the computing speed of the device.</div><div data-mce-style="text-align: justify;" style="text-align: justify;">"We have strong plan to penetrate into the Indian market in the next one to two years and want to be a leading brand in smart phone market in India. The app, which has been in development for more than a year, is in the final stages of testing, these sources told the Times.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The Facebook Chat and Groups features have been overhauled, and the app will allow users to upload photos and videos shot by the iPad, according to the report.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Facebook representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">iPad users have been begging Facebook for an iPad-native app since Apple began selling the device in April 2010, and it's likely that both Facebook and Apple would benefit from such an app.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The availability of an app optimized for iPads might help sway tablet shoppers on the fence about whether to purchase an Android-based tablet or Apple's device. For Facebook, about half of its 500 million active users access the social network through a mobile device, and those users are twice as active on Facebook than non-mobile users.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Facebook has apparently been focusing a lot of attention lately at winning over Apple users. Facebook's iPad app would likely benefit from a new platform Facebook is reportedly developing to work only on mobile Safari. Dubbed Project Spartan, the new platform will be HTML5-based and aimed at iOS devices like the iPad and iPhone, according to a TechCrunch report.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Facebook is also reportedly working on a photo-sharing application for the iPhone that won't be integrated into Facebook's existing iPhone program. Instead, the service will be a standalone option for users that leverages Facebook's social graph, according to another TechCrunch report.</div></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6258966459687295671.post-35178166929174299832011-06-16T23:46:00.000-07:002011-06-16T23:46:37.659-07:00Huawei dials a big-spoils number with handsets<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"><div style="text-align: justify;"><a data-mce-href="http://onlinenewslatest.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/huawei-big-spoils-handsets1.jpg" href="http://onlinenewslatest.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/huawei-big-spoils-handsets1.jpg"><img alt="Huawei big-spoils handsets" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-737" data-mce-src="http://onlinenewslatest.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/huawei-big-spoils-handsets1.jpg" height="394" src="http://onlinenewslatest.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/huawei-big-spoils-handsets1.jpg" title="Huawei big-spoils handsets" width="318" /></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Huawei Devices, a subsidiary of the global telecommunication solutions leader Huawei Technologies, is gearing up for big play in the Indian mobile handsets market.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The company, which is set to launch about 10-12 products including tablets in India this year, is targeting a 5-7% market share in the over-Rs5,000 handsets market by 2013. This is expected to place Huawei among the Top 5 handset players in the country.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">“We are currently rolling out three smart phones in the Rs15,000 price bracket. But, we will continue to launch new models with a targeting of achieving 15% market share by 2015,” P Sanjeev, director - sales terminal, Huawei Telecommunications, said.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The company is preparing to invest about $2 billion in India for ramping up its market presence and also strengthen its India product creation centre. “We are focusing on designing products for the Indian market and we can’t rule out a first-in-India product as well. However, right now we are focusing on the smart phones segment,” he said.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Enthused by the rollout of 3G services in India, the company is preparing to tap the market with phones built on Android 2.2 platform. “At some point, we will also bring out a sub-Rs8,000 handset,” he said.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Huawei is pinning hopes on the growing Indian mobile handset market expected to clock a sales of about 170 million units as against about 150 million handsets. About 38% of this market is said to be for handsets over Rs3,500.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">“There has been a bloody battle in the mobile market in the last two years with about 200-250 brands coming to the market. However, most of them were in the sub-Rs3,000 range. Now, there is a smart phone boom. Though it looks as we if we are the late entrants into the market, we think we are here at the right time,” Anand Narang, marketing director - terminal, Huawei Telecommunications, said.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Huawei has been in the Indian market since 2001 by having OEM agreements with various telecommunication companies.<br />
The company has also been a major player in the Direct To Home set top boxes market. The company was also supplying mobile handsets for CDMA players in the country.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">“Now, we have decided to promote brand Huawei in India and our entry into the open market with smart phones is a part of that strategy. From being a B2B player, the strategy now is to be a B2B and a B2C player,” he said.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Indian market has been playing a key role for Huawei Devices globally. Of the $4.5-billion revenue from the devices market last year, Indian market contributes 8-10% to this topline.
